TJ's ENG 100 Blog

 I've always been a Band nerd. When I joined the UH band, I found a community of people who I truly connected with. All the other members were adults like me and went through similar experiences, so I related to a lot of them and made friends very quickly. We all work together, striving to improve our tone and quality of sound, while also goofing around and having a good time. I’ve also discovered people who have the same hobbies as me! I ended up branching into other communities with those people, but that’s a blog post for another time.

 My expectations for this class are quite high. I’ve had Lance as an instructor before and he was great! I am a little concerned with myself and my habits that I’ve developed, but I really hope I can break the bad ones and develop better ones instead throughout the course of this class. The book we’ve been assigned to read looks quite interesting, so I’m excited for this class!
